The Gaertner Family

This sweet family of 4 made my job easy! Smiling away while we walked and explored Stroud Nature Preserve in West Chester. We found treasures (rocks), ran up hills and saw Peanut Butter Trees (according to Ben)

Brothers are the best. Ben who will be 3 late September and Cole who turned 1 in April, are a photographers dream. Smiling, hugging and laughing with each other, they were too cute for words!

Erin and Peter have a lot to show for there beautiful Family! This October they will celebrate 6 years of marriage! 2 handsome young men later they are as sweet as can be and I enjoyed every moment capturing this season in there life!

But there was another reason to celebrate. A couple days before our vacation they closed on their first home! So beautiful pictures for them to hang in there new home was a definite!

Lung Love Run

On Saturday I got to be a part of the very first Lung Love Run at the Philadelphia Zoo. This run was put together by the Lung Cancer Alliance which helps support victims and there families.

Did you know, Lung Cancer is now the top most deadliest cancer! I was honored to witness people who have a story linked to lung cancer,
join together and support such a good cause!
Friends, family and loved ones participated in a 5k run or 1 mile walk to remember those who are affected and raised money to support others.

The Love Lung Run was arranged to educate and raise awareness for Lung Cancer and celebrate those who overcame. 1 survivor and her family were present. She spoke about how she was given a 14% chance of survival! She talked on how the Lung Alliance, along with her Doctors and Family, never gave up and that was the reason she was standing in front of us all!

It was cool to be in the Zoo before anyone else. Running past the Cheetahs lounging in the early sun, listening to the Monkeys and Birds say "Good Morning." After the race you got full access to the Zoo for the rest of the day to enjoy with your family!

The event was welcoming and had a lot to offer for families. Kids playing with toys, coloring activities and bubbles! Snacks were available to munch on while you socialized and listened to music!

Next year I hope you will join me and my family to support such a great cause! Thank you Lung Cancer Alliance for allowing me to capture a great day filled with LOVE!

The Lanzone Family

While in Virginia Beach I got to take some family pictures for my big sister and her adorable family of 4!

The sun was setting and a storm was rolling in, so of course the beach made for the perfect backdrop. Mixed together with a newborn and a beach loving, full of life, energetic 2 1/2 year old I can honestly say I'm in love with these photos!

My sister, Tiffany and brother, Dave welcomed Madelyn Mae into the world 8 weeks ago. Like most new parents, newborn pictures were a must. Lets be real! Rallying the whole family together for family photos just didn't seem possible after such a big life change.

Since we were planning on visiting the beach, we knew making time for a Lanzone Family photo shoot was a must!

My nephew Landon, like I said earlier doesn't just LOVE the beach. He is in heaven when he's on the beach! He runs, giggles, throws and dives into the sand.  But it doesn't end there. His daring spirit when it comes to the water is to cute for words! If it was up to him he would walk head deep and explore all that the ocean has to offer. So keeping him on land was a challenge!

After a 30 minute mini session. I think we were able to get the Family pictures they were hoping for. The colors, the warmth and mystical feeling in these photos brings a smile to my face and I hope it does to yours to!
